His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, ordered the release of 1,295 inmates from correctional and penal facilities who had been sentenced in various cases, and His Highness undertook to pay the financial obligations incurred by them in implementation of those sentences.. on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
The initiative of His Highness the President of the State regarding the release of inmates comes within the framework of His Highness’s keenness to give them the opportunity to start a new life, alleviate the suffering of their families, achieve stability, and bring joy to the hearts of their families on this blessed occasion.
